The Wilkinson E-Z-Lok™ machine heads have two holes per post, greatly improving tuning stability.
You can still tune conventionally if you like, but when you use both holes, you essentially get a locking tuning key that keeps the strings in tune.
Just thread the string through either the top or bottom hole, pull the string tight, make a wrap around the post, then thread the remaining string through the second hole.
